Who We Are
Development & Relief Solutions (DRESO) is a non-profit making and non-Governmental Organization working in Banadir, Hiran, and Middle and Lower Shabelle regions. DRESO headquarters are in Mogadishu, Somalia. DRESO projects focus on children, youth, women and displaced persons. The programs touch on human rights, democracy, WASH, Health and Nutrition, Livelihood, relief and development.

Our Focus Areas

WASH
DRESO enhances community access to potable water systems/points, establishing sustainable management and sanitation systems and promotion of improved hygiene and environmental sanitation practices.

Food Security, Livelihood
DRESO aims to enhance food security, nutritional status and improvement of self-reliance by improving household food self-sufficiency and income; increase supplies at market level through the rehabilitation and development of production systems.

Youth Resource Centre and Vocational Training
DRESO aims to provide educational and training opportunities to help youth build skills ranging from adult literacy, financial literacy including budgeting and personal accounting, entrepreneurship, vocational training and a variety of critical life skills.

Health and Nutrition
DRESO is involved in Primary Health Care and provide prevention, curative and control services including child and maternal healthcare, expanded program on immunization (EPI), micronutrient deficiency disorders, management of common diseases and raising awareness, advocacy and management of HIV/AIDS.

Social Mobilization and Protection of Human Rights Programs
To Increase community awareness about social issues that affect them and advocate for policies that promote positive development.
